On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former West Boca Raton High School standout Tyler Lichtenberger’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 12-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

The game took place at Thomas Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.
