On Sunday, Feb. 16, former West Boca Raton High School standout Tyler Lichtenberger’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 16-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Queens Royals.

The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Royals this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. at Coy O. Williard Stadium against High Point Panthers.
