As the sun comes up and you start to assess the damage around your home please give emergency crews the time and also the roadways to drive around and ensure your safety prior to you leaving your home.
We still have moderate sustained winds, with occasional high gusts in the area which will cause flying debris to include causing weakened trees to fall.
Numerous intersections have the traffic lights damaged, hanging or out completely. Treat all lights as a stop sign intersection (4-way all stop) until lights can be fixed or personnel be put in place.
The crews are working feverishly to get power restored and assess damage throughout our county.
