  • Introduction: This meeting will be to consider extending the Local State of Emergency declared on September 27, 2022 under Resolution 2022-59.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Okeechobee County Historic Courthouse in the "Judge William L. Hendry Courtroom" located at 304 NW 2nd Street, Okeechobee, Florida. This meeting will be to consider extending the Local State of Emergency declared on September 27, 2022 under Resolution 2022-59.

Any person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purposes, he or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of such proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
