We will be out enforcing collections, sales, and transportation of palmetto berry season here in Okeechobee County.
Why? Well, to protect those that legally obtain, maintain, and transport.
Know the new laws and make sure you are registered and keep all required paperwork on you.
If you violate the conditions of your permit your berries will be collected and may face a summons or in most cases arrest and fines.
