Of the 6,665 people living in South Bay in 2020, 21.2 percent (1,411) were women and 78.8 percent (5,254) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Okeechobee Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 3,686. In the 65 and over age range, there were 174 females and 392 males.
