At last night's City Council meeting, we had the privilege of presenting certificates and a proclamation to very deserving individuals. A "Certificate of Outstanding Achievement" was presented to Carol Marker for exemplifying grit and integrity on and off the court. A "Certificate of Outstanding Service" to Mr. Jim LaRue for all he has done for the City of Okeechobee as our Planner for the past several years. To Sheriff Noel Stephen and the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office, a proclamation was presented designating April 18-24, 2022 as Crime Victims' Rights Week.
