South Central Florida Life issued the following announcement on November 19.
IMMOKALEE — The 8th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. at the Immokalee Zocalo Plaza, 107 First St. Decorations were donated by Seminole Casino Hotel.
This event is free to the public.
While the countdown for the tree lighting proceeds enjoy Christmas music and watch the coronation of Mr. and Miss. Snowflake. There will be photo props for pictures with Santa Claus and a personal mail dropbox for letters to Santa.
