Okeechobee County Property Appraiser's Office issued the following announcement on August 13.
To all Okeechobee County Property Owners:
The Florida Department of Revenue has approved the 2021 preliminary tax roll and your TRIM notices will be mailed on August 20.
TRIM notices will be placed on the website www.okeechobeepa.com for viewing on August 20.
The TRIM notices will show the value of your property, any exemptions or classifications you qualify for, the corresponding taxes on your property, and meeting times when your taxing districts will adopt millage rates. Please contact us if you feel the value of your property is incorrect, or you are entitled to an exemption you do not currently have, or have not yet filed for.
Please Note:
During this time your Property Appraiser’s Office continues to remain open to the public. However, we encourage you to contact our office via phone or email.
