Okeechobee Main Street, Inc. recently issued the following announcement.
Okeechobee Main Street held their second annual Festival of Trees event on November 21 at Main Street’s new location.
This annual event featured a silent auction of donated Christmas Trees and Holiday Décor
with a portion of the proceeds donated to Hospice of Okeechobee, Inc.
The silent auction began earlier in the afternoon from with a preview of the trees and decorations.
The Festival of the Trees party began at 6pm with attendees enjoying the ambience of the holiday decorations.
Everyone had fun bidding on their favorite items, enjoying comradery with friends and business associates.
CDC health protocol was in place. A quaint outdoor social distancing area was provided,
and a Christmas Mask Contest took place to encourage mask wearing by attendees.
Kicking off the Holiday Season, the festive event was also an introduction to
Okeechobee Main Street’s Arts & Culture Alliance Art Center and Gallery.
