Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles issued the following announcement July 30.
#DidYouKnow all trailers must be registered with FLHSMV?
The trailer’s empty weight determines if it must also be titled. An empty trailer that weighs 2,000 pounds or more must be titled, as well as registered. Trailers may be required to have working brake lights, in addition to reflectors, in accordance with state law. Contact your local office if you have questions about these details.
