The first quarter of 2021: Home prices in South Bay increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in South Bay rose by $73,500 while total sales decreased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $186,000 - a 65.3% increase over the $112,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in South Bay in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in South Bay for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $966, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
