Census Bureau: More men than women in Lake Placid in 2019

Of the 1,907 people living in Lake Placid in 2019, 43.9 percent (837) were women and 56.1 percent (1,070) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Okeechobee Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 531-to-393. In the 65 and over age range, there were 227 females and 209 males.
