South Bay home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in South Bay rose by $22,000 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,000 - a 32.8% increase over the $67,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in South Bay in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in South Bay for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $966, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
