South Bay home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in South Bay fell by $9,700 while total sales increased by 300%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $28,300 - a 25.5% decrease over the $38,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in South Bay in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in South Bay for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $913, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
