South Bay home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in South Bay fell by $13,000 while total sales increased by 133.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $67,000 - a 16.3% decrease over the $80,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in South Bay in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in South Bay for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $913, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
