South Bay home prices fall in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in South Bay fell by $9,500 while total sales increased by 78.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $52,500 - a 15.3% decrease over the $62,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in South Bay in 2018.

The median sales tax in South Bay for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $913, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for 2019.
