Pre-K students from North and Everglades Elementary visited the District Office today.

They’ve been learning about buildings, materials, and blueprints.

The students:

toured the 1st and 3rd floors,

rode the elevator,

inspected blueprints of the future Okeechobee High School,

peered out a 3rd floor window,

navigated the server room or “the brains of the IT building”,

observed the lizards that “protect” the grounds,

and identified the bricks, wood, metal, and glass that make up the building!

When asked “what was your favorite part?” the most frequent response was “all of it”!

We’ll count that as a WIN!

A great learning experience had by all!!
