On Tuesday, March 11, former West Boca Raton High School standout Tyler Lichtenberger’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charlotte 49ers.

The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their first matchup against the 49ers this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against Texas State Bobcats.
