On Thursday, Feb. 6, former Avon Park High School standout Brad Benton’s current college team, the Lynn Fighting Knights, won 10-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Erskine Flying Fleet.

The game took place at Lynn Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Flying Fleet this season.

The Fighting Knights’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. at Lynn Baseball Field against Washburn Ichabods.
