On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Labelle High School standout Marissa Burchard’s current college team, the UTEP Miners, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Northern Colorado Bears.

The game took place at Helen of Troy Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Miners’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Andy Mohr Field against Indiana Hoosiers.
