On Friday, Jan. 31, former Avon Park High School standout Brad Benton’s current college team, the Lynn Fighting Knights, lost 12-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mount Olive Trojans.

The game took place at Lynn Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Trojans this season.

The Fighting Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. at Lynn Baseball Field against Catawba Indians.
